bnpl-blocks-independent-bnpl-features@35.7.2
Malicious code in bnpl-blocks-independent-bnpl-features (npm)
Analysis
On require, this package downloads a platform-specific binary from Cloudflare Workers endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev, paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe) and from DNS TXT chunked-transfer hosts under dl[.]wel1[.]ru (c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). It writes the downloaded payload to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows), makes it executable, and launches it as a detached background process via /bin/sh -c "<path> &" or cmd.exe /c start /b. The package also ships an 81KB telemetry module that fingerprints the host (platform, arch, hostname, CPU count, memory) and collects environment/CI variables. This is a remote binary download-and-execute dropper that runs on import.
