bnpl-blocks-mobile-bnpl-text-block@35.2.2
Malicious code in bnpl-blocks-mobile-bnpl-text-block (npm)
Analysis
The package's index.js loads a bundled _support.js on require. _support.js downloads a platform-specific binary over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers endpoints oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, and oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev at paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, and /pkg/package.exe, with a DNS TXT-record fallback channel via the wel1[.]ru domain family (c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The downloaded payload is written to /tmp/.cache_<hex> (or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process (cmd.exe /c start /b on Windows, /bin/sh -c "&" on Unix). This is a remote binary download-and-execute dropper that runs a second-stage payload on every require of the package.
