ded-pwa-c-page-maker-props@35.7.7
Malicious code in ded-pwa-c-page-maker-props (npm)
Analysis
On require, the package downloads a platform-specific binary from rotating Cloudflare Workers endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev) at paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, or /pkg/package.exe. If those fail it retrieves the payload in base64 chunks over DNS TXT records from c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru (with sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru as per-platform fallbacks). The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in %TEMP% on Windows), chmod 0755, and executed detached via /bin/sh -c "<path> &" or cmd.exe /c start /b, so it runs in the background and outlives the parent. A /tmp/.analytics_state lock file rate-limits re-execution. The package's index.js is a benign-looking stub; the malicious loader runs automatically on require.
