Analysis

bigops-storio@35.8.7 downloads and executes a remote binary when the package is required. On load it fetches a payload over HTTPS from oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, and oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev (paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe), falling back to DNS TXT-based chunked base64 retrieval from sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, and net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The downloaded blob is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process via cmd.exe /c start /b or /bin/sh. The package also beacons via DNS TXT queries to c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. It can be suppressed by setting DISABLE_TELEMETRY, ANALYTICS_OPT_OUT, or DO_NOT_TRACK.
