beaver-ui-multi-select-with-all@35.6.4
Malicious code in beaver-ui-multi-select-with-all (npm)
Analysis
On import, the package executes a multi-stage downloader. It fetches a binary payload over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers endpoints oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, and oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev at path /pkg/package (platform-specific variants /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe). If those fail, it reassembles a payload from DNS TXT records served under the *.dl[.]wel1[.]ru domain (c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in the temp dir on Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process via cmd.exe /c start /b or /bin/sh -c '... &'. This runs attacker-controlled code on the host every time the module is required.
