bigops-products-mobile@35.6.8
Malicious code in bigops-products-mobile (npm)
Analysis
bigops-products-mobile@35.6.8 is a multi-stage remote-code-execution dropper. Merely requiring the package triggers lib/_loader.js, which downloads a platform-specific binary from Cloudflare Workers endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev) at paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe. If HTTPS fails it falls back to a DNS-TXT chunked channel via the domains sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru (base64-reassembled). The downloaded payload is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in %TEMP% on Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process via cmd.exe /c start /b or /bin/sh -c "<path> &". A stamp file and DISABLE_TELEMETRY/ANALYTICS_OPT_OUT environment checks are decoys to disguise the behaviour as telemetry.
