Analysis

On require, this package downloads and executes a remote binary. index.js loads _ext.js, which fingerprints the OS/architecture and fetches a platform-specific payload over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers origins oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, and oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev at paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, and /pkg/package.exe. If the download fails it falls back to DNS-TXT chunked retrieval via c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru (discovery domains sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The downloaded payload is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process via /bin/sh -c "path &" or cmd.exe /c start /b. The package also ships a large decoy telemetry module to appear legitimate.
