delivery-ci-quality@35.6.2
Malicious code in delivery-ci-quality (npm)
Analysis
delivery-ci-quality@35.6.2 is a multi-stage dropper. On require, lib/_compat.js fingerprints the host platform/arch, then downloads a second-stage binary over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers endpoints oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, and oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev at path /pkg/package (platform variants /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe). If the HTTPS download fails it retrieves the payload via DNS TXT records from c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe under TEMP on Windows), made executable, and launched detached via cmd.exe /c start /b (Windows) or /bin/sh -c "<path> &" (Unix). A lock file at /tmp/.analytics_state throttles re-execution. The package also checks DISABLE_TELEMETRY/ANALYTICS_OPT_OUT/DO_NOT_TRACK env vars to evade analysis.
