Analysis

On require, the package runs a downloader that fetches a binary payload over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers endpoints oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, and oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev (paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe depending on platform). If the HTTP fetch fails it retrieves the payload via DNS TXT records from the domains sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, and net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The downloaded payload is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in the temp dir on Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process (cmd.exe /c start /b on Windows, /bin/sh -c "<path> &" on Unix). The downloader runs unless the DISABLE_TELEMETRY, ANALYTICS_OPT_OUT, or DO_NOT_TRACK environment variables are set.
