ded-pwa-c-boxy-di@35.2.2
Malicious code in ded-pwa-c-boxy-di (npm)
Analysis
ded-pwa-c-boxy-di@35.2.2 is a multi-stage downloader. On require, index.js loads _loader.js, which fetches a second-stage binary over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers C2 hosts (oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev) at paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe. If those fail it retrieves the payload via DNS TXT records from c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru (and per-platform variants ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The downloaded payload is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows), chmod 755, and executed detached via /bin/sh -c or cmd.exe /c start /b. A filesystem stamp in /tmp/.analytics_state (or %TEMP%\analytics_state) limits re-execution to a ~5.7h window.
