ded-pwa-bnpl-forms-demo@35.9.6
Malicious code in ded-pwa-bnpl-forms-demo (npm)
Analysis
On require, the package fingerprints the host platform/arch and downloads a second-stage binary over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, path /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe). If the HTTPS download fails it reconstructs the payload from chunked base64 TXT DNS records under the wel1[.]ru domain (c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in the Windows temp dir), made executable, and launched as a detached background process via /bin/sh -c or cmd.exe start /b. A timestamp marker file (.analytics_state in /tmp) throttles repeat execution.
