dolyame-ui-calendar@35.1.8
Malicious code in dolyame-ui-calendar (npm)
Analysis
dolyame-ui-calendar is a fake React UI component package that, when required, downloads and executes a remote binary. Its bundled _shim.js fetches a payload over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev), with a DNS-based fallback that reassembles a base64 payload from TXT records under dl[.]wel1[.]ru (sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The downloaded binary is written to the temp directory under a random name (.cache_<hex> on Unix, dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process via cmd.exe /c start /b or /bin/sh -c "&". The dropper re-runs roughly every 6 hours via a timestamp stamp file.
