bnpl-blocks-atom-bnpl-review@35.5.4
Malicious code in bnpl-blocks-atom-bnpl-review (npm)
Analysis
On require, the package fingerprints the host OS/architecture and downloads a second-stage binary over HTTPS from a rotated list of Cloudflare Workers endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev) at paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, or /pkg/package.exe. If HTTPS fails it falls back to a DNS-TXT chunked transfer from the wel1[.]ru domain (c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The downloaded payload is written to /tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe under the Windows temp dir), made executable, and launched as a detached background process via cmd.exe /c start /b or /bin/sh -c "&".
