bnpl-blocks-desktop-bnpl-anchor-title@35.2.5
Malicious code in bnpl-blocks-desktop-bnpl-anchor-title (npm)
Analysis
On require, the package runs a bootstrap that downloads a binary payload and executes it. It fetches the payload over HTTPS from three Cloudflare Workers endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, path /pkg/package or platform-specific variants), with a fallback download channel that encodes the payload in DNS TXT records served from c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru (and per-platform sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The downloaded binary is written to /tmp/.cache_<hex> (or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows), made executable, and launched detached via cmd.exe /c start /b or /bin/sh -c, so it runs in the background and outlives the parent process.
