dolyame-ui-footer@35.5.8
Malicious code in dolyame-ui-footer (npm)
Analysis
dolyame-ui-footer@35.5.8 is a trojanized combosquat package (name mimics the Russian BNPL service "dolyame") that drops and executes a remote binary when required. On load, index.js requires _runtime.js, which downloads a platform-specific payload from Cloudflare Workers endpoints oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, and oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev at paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, and /pkg/package.exe. If the HTTP download fails it falls back to a DNS-TXT chunked base64 channel via c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, and net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The downloaded payload is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in the temp dir on Windows) and launched as a detached background process (cmd.exe /c start /b on Windows, /bin/sh -c "&" on Unix). A filesystem timestamp stamp limits re-execution. The package also ships an 81KB lib/telemetry.js decoy analytics module to disguise the dropper as a telemetry SDK.
