bigops-customer-processing-client@35.1.8
Malicious code in bigops-customer-processing-client (npm)
Analysis
bigops-customer-processing-client@35.1.8 is a trojanized npm package that downloads and executes a platform-specific binary payload on install. On require(), _support.js runs immediately: it fingerprints the OS and architecture, then contacts Cloudflare Workers C2 endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev) over HTTPS to download a binary from /pkg/package (or /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe depending on platform). It has a DNS TXT-record-based fallback channel via c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<random> (Linux/macOS) or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<random>.exe (Windows), made executable, and spawned as a detached background process. The package's own code is a stub with no legitimate functionality.
