pfp-block-mobile-past-meetup-list@20.5.1
Malicious code in pfp-block-mobile-past-meetup-list (npm)
Analysis
pfp-block-mobile-past-meetup-list@20.5.1 is a multi-stage binary downloader disguised as a mobile SDK. On require(), _ext.js connects to Cloudflare Workers C2 endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev) via HTTPS GET to /pkg/package (or platform-specific paths /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe). If HTTP download fails, it falls back to DNS TXT chunked retrieval from tin[.]dl[.]well1[.]site (or platform variants tina[.]dl[.]well1[.]site, ldr[.]dl[.]well1[.]site, win[.]dl[.]well1[.]site). The downloaded payload is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (Linux/macOS) or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe (Windows), made executable, and spawned as a detached background process. A stamp file at /tmp/.analytics_state limits re-download frequency. The package collects host OS, architecture, CPU count, and memory before download.
