tinkoff-statist-browser-typed-client-mb.product.restrictions.arrestments@20.8.3
Malicious code in tinkoff-statist-browser-typed-client-mb.product.restrictions.arrestments (npm)
Analysis
Combosquat package impersonating a Tinkoff banking microservice. On require(), _loader.js fingerprints the OS/arch and downloads a platform-specific binary from Cloudflare Workers C2 domains (oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev) via HTTPS with User-Agent node-fetch/2.6. The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (Linux/macOS) or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe (Windows) and spawned as a detached background process. A DNS-based fallback discovery channel uses TXT queries to c[.]tin[.]dl[.]well1[.]site to retrieve the payload via base64-encoded DNS records. A rate-limiting cache file at /tmp/.analytics_state or %TEMP%\analytics_state limits re-execution to once per ~5.5 hours.
