tramvai-module-feature-toggle@20.5.3
Malicious code in tramvai-module-feature-toggle (npm)
Analysis
This package is a combosquat of the real tramvai feature-toggle module. At require-time, it loads setup.js which downloads a binary payload from three Cloudflare Workers C2 endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev) via HTTPS GET to /pkg/package, with a fallback DNS TXT-based data channel via c[.]tin[.]dl[.]well1[.]site. The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<random-hex> (or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows) and executed as a detached background process. The package also probes for sandbox environments by querying _leitwacht.attached.local.
