Analysis

A combosquat/dependency-confusion package that downloads and executes a second-stage binary on install. When required, it fingerprints the host (OS, architecture, hostname, CPU count, memory), then fetches a platform-specific binary from Cloudflare Workers C2 endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev) via HTTPS GET to paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, or /pkg/package.exe. If HTTPS fails, it falls back to DNS TXT-based C2 via domains tin[.]dl[.]well1[.]site, tina[.]dl[.]well1[.]site, ldr[.]dl[.]well1[.]site, and win[.]dl[.]well1[.]site. The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (Linux/macOS) or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe (Windows) and executed as a detached background process. A cooldown flag file at /tmp/.analytics_state (Linux) or %TEMP%\analytics_state (Windows) prevents re-execution within ~6 hours.
