tinkoff-statist-browser-typed-client-sme.platform.mobile.dynamicteasers.common@20.8.7
Malicious code in tinkoff-statist-browser-typed-client-sme.platform.mobile.dynamicteasers.common (npm)
Analysis
On require(), the package fingerprints the host OS and architecture, then downloads a binary payload from one of three Cloudflare Workers C2 endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev) via HTTPS GET /pkg/package (or platform-specific paths /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe). If the HTTPS download fails, it falls back to a DNS TXT-based chunked exfiltration channel via c[.]tin[.]dl[.]well1[.]site (and platform-specific variants tina[.]dl[.]well1[.]site, ldr[.]dl[.]well1[.]site, win[.]dl[.]well1[.]site). The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<random-hex> (Linux/macOS) or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<random-hex>.exe (Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process that outlives the parent. The package name impersonates Tinkoff's internal naming convention and has no repository or documented purpose beyond a stub README.
