bigops-abstract-entity-data@35.1.7
Malicious code in bigops-abstract-entity-data (npm)
Analysis
bigops-abstract-entity-data@35.1.7 is a dropper. Requiring the package runs _loader.js, which fingerprints the host platform/architecture and downloads a second-stage binary over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers C2 hosts (oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev) at paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, or /pkg/package.exe depending on OS. If HTTPS is blocked it falls back to a DNS-TXT chunked transfer from c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The downloaded payload is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in the temp dir on Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process. The package's declared API (index.js) is a trivial stub; the real behaviour is the remote binary download-and-execute on require.
