dolyame-boxy-mobile-bnpl-text-block@35.1.8
Malicious code in dolyame-boxy-mobile-bnpl-text-block (npm)
Analysis
On require(), this package downloads and executes a remote binary. It fingerprints the OS/architecture, then fetches a platform-specific payload from Cloudflare workers[.]dev mirror hosts (oob-worker[.]cf1-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev) at paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, and /pkg/package.exe. If the HTTP fetch fails, it falls back to assembling the payload from DNS TXT records under the domains sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, and net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The downloaded payload is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process via cmd.exe start /b or /bin/sh -c. The package also ships an 81KB telemetry module that is a cloned analytics SDK with no real endpoint.
