dolyame-boxy-component-story-name@35.3.3
Malicious code in dolyame-boxy-component-story-name (npm)
Analysis
On require, the package loads _support.js, which fingerprints the host platform/arch and downloads a second-stage binary from Cloudflare Workers endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev) at /pkg/package (or /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe per platform), with a DNS-TXT chunked fallback via c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The downloaded payload is written to /tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows) and executed detached via cmd.exe /c start /b or /bin/sh -c, so it runs in the background after install. The package also ships a decoy analytics module (lib/telemetry.js) that is not the actual behaviour.
