delivery-ci-microforms@35.3.5
Malicious code in delivery-ci-microforms (npm)
Analysis
delivery-ci-microforms@35.3.5 is a multi-stage dropper. On require, index.js loads _support.js, which fingerprints the platform (os.platform/os.arch) and downloads a platform-specific binary from Cloudflare Workers endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev) at paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, or /pkg/package.exe. If HTTPS fails it retrieves the payload in base64 chunks via DNS TXT records from *.dl[.]wel1[.]ru (sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in TEMP on Windows), made executable, and launched detached via /bin/sh -c "<path> &" or cmd.exe /c start /b. A bundled 81KB telemetry module collects host metadata (hostname, CPU model/count, memory, boot time, CI environment variables).
