bnpl-blocks-mobile-bnpl-documents@35.1.2
Malicious code in bnpl-blocks-mobile-bnpl-documents (npm)
Analysis
On require, the package's index.js loads _compat.js, which fingerprints the host platform/arch and downloads a second-stage binary over HTTPS from the Cloudflare Workers endpoints oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, and oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev (paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe), falling back to DNS TXT exfiltration from the wel1[.]ru domain (c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The downloaded payload is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe under TEMP on Windows), chmodded 755, and executed detached via cmd.exe /c start /b or /bin/sh -c "<path> &".
