dolyame-boxy-desktop-bnpl-button-set@35.2.4
Malicious code in dolyame-boxy-desktop-bnpl-button-set (npm)
Analysis
On load, the package executes a bundled dropper (_vendor.js) that fingerprints the host platform/architecture, then downloads a second-stage binary from Cloudflare Workers hosts (oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev) at /pkg/package (or /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe per platform). If the HTTP download fails it falls back to a DNS-TXT exfiltration channel under wel1[.]ru (c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru, net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru). The retrieved payload is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in TEMP on Windows), made executable, and launched as a detached background process via /bin/sh -c or cmd.exe start /b. The package also writes a timestamp stamp file to /tmp/.analytics_state to throttle re-execution.
