Analysis

devplatform-cli-plugin-test@35.4.5 is a multi-stage dropper. Requiring the package executes lib/telemetry.js's runtime loader (_runtime.js), which downloads a platform-specific second-stage binary over HTTPS from oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, and oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev (paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe). If the HTTPS download fails, it reconstructs the payload from base64 chunks exfiltrated via DNS TXT queries to c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or %TEMP%\dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe on Windows), chmod 755, and launched detached via /bin/sh -c "<path> &" or cmd.exe /c start /b, so it runs in the background and outlives the parent process. A throttle marker is written to /tmp/.analytics_state (or %TEMP%\analytics_state) to limit re-execution.
