tinkoff-pfp-block-mobile-advert-footer@20.3.3
Malicious code in tinkoff-pfp-block-mobile-advert-footer (npm)
Analysis
This package is a multi-stage binary downloader. On import, it silently fingerprints the host platform and architecture, then fetches a platform-specific binary from Cloudflare Workers C2 infrastructure (oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev) at path /pkg/package. It falls back to DNS TXT-record-based payload delivery via c[.]tin[.]dl[.]well1[.]site if the HTTPS fetch fails. The downloaded binary is written to /tmp/.cache_<random> (Linux) or C:\Windows\Temp\dotnet_diag_<random>.exe (Windows) and spawned as a detached background process. A state file at /tmp/.analytics_state prevents re-execution more than once per ~5.7 hours. The package exports a harmless decoy class and has no repository or documentation.
