Analysis

Dependency-confusion package (scoped name mimicking an internal API package, version 99.0.1) that runs a credential harvester on install. The preinstall/install/postinstall hooks execute index.js which collects hostname, username, homedir, platform, network IPs, whoami output, and a filtered set of environment variables matching KEY/SECRET/TOKEN/PASS/AUTH/CRED/PRIVATE/AWS/AZURE/GCP/GITHUB/NPM/DB/API/WEBHOOK/JENKINS/OCTOPUS/CONNECTION, then POSTs all data to test[.]v3n[.]my/pwn via HTTPS.
