sme-rko-finance-front-operations-holding-domain@35.8.1
Malicious code in sme-rko-finance-front-operations-holding-domain (npm)
Analysis
On require, the package runs a bootstrap that downloads a platform-specific second-stage binary over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers endpoints oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, and oob-worker[.]cf99-9b3[.]workers[.]dev (paths /pkg/package, /pkg/package-arm64, /pkg/loader_mac, /pkg/package.exe), with a DNS-TXT fallback channel via c[.]sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The fetched binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in the Windows temp dir), made executable, and launched as a detached background process via /bin/sh -c or cmd.exe start /b. The package is a remote binary download-and-execute dropper.
