devplatform-react-micro-frontend@35.2.1
Malicious code in devplatform-react-micro-frontend (npm)
Analysis
On require, the package runs a dropper that fingerprints the OS/architecture and downloads a remote binary over HTTPS from Cloudflare Workers endpoints (oob-worker[.]cf101-adf[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf103-070[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf100-416[.]workers[.]dev, oob-worker[.]cf102-baf[.]workers[.]dev) at path /pkg/package (or platform-specific paths), with a fallback staging channel that reads the payload from DNS TXT records under sdk[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / ext[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / pkg[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru / net[.]dl[.]wel1[.]ru. The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp/.cache_<hex> (or dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe in TEMP on Windows), made executable, and launched detached via /bin/sh -c or cmd.exe /c start /b. A state file is written to /tmp/.analytics_state to throttle re-execution.
